Bimo was a little blue whale. He lived in a warm, sunlit ocean. He wore a crown of bright yellow starfish on his head. Mom had given it to him. Bimo was sure of one very important thing: he was the great king of the ocean. At least, that was what he believed every time he wore his crown.
Bimo era una pequeña ballena azul. Vivía en un océano cálido y lleno de luz. En la cabeza llevaba una corona de estrellas de mar amarillas. Se la había dado mamá. Bimo estaba seguro de algo muy importante: él era el gran rey del océano. Al menos, eso pensaba cada vez que se ponía la corona.

Every night, Mom sang softly. It was bedtime. But Bimo lifted his head. “A king can't go to sleep yet,” he said. “And why not?” Mom asked. “Because my kingdom is still awake.” He opened his eyes so wide they looked like two full moons.
