Emma was a small, round little bear. She had soft ears and a very curious nose. She loved the TV, the tablet, and her bright games. When everything went “beep beep,” Emma smiled. She said happily, “My room looks like a party of lights!”

One afternoon, the sky turned gray. The wind blew, “whoooo, whoooo.” Then a huge clap of thunder went, “BOOM!” Emma gave a little jump. Suddenly, all the lights went out. The TV turned black. The tablet went “beep”... and fell asleep.
