Lana was a llama, soft as a cloud. She always wore a colorful chullo. Every night, she gazed at the glowing moon. It was round, yellow, and enormous. “It looks like a giant wheel of cheese!” said Lana. Her tummy answered, “Grrr! Yum, yum!”

Lana era una llama suave como una nube. Siempre llevaba un chullo de muchos colores. Cada noche miraba la luna brillante. Era redonda, amarilla y enorme. —¡Parece un queso gigante! —decía Lana. Su barriga respondía: —¡Grrr! ¡Ñam, ñam!

Lana closed her eyes and sniffed the air. “Mmm… I smell cheese,” she said. But all she could smell was fresh grass. Her tummy grumbled again. “Grrr, grrr!” Lana opened one eye. “Be patient, little tummy! We’ll taste the moon soon.”
