Gina poked her long neck through the acacia trees. She had bright spots. And many, many questions. “Why is the sky blue?” she asked. The sun warmed her nose. Gina looked up. “Did someone paint it with a giant brush?” Then she giggled all by herself.

Gina walked across the savanna. She found some zebras munching grass. “Why do you have stripes, and I don’t?” One zebra swished her tail. “Because every animal has something special.” Gina looked at her spots. “Then I’m like a cookie with chocolate chips.” The zebras laughed softly.
