Sofia was a little hummingbird with green‐and‐gold feathers. She lived in a garden full of flowers. She was cheerful, curious, and very fast. She wanted everything to happen right away. “Now, now, now!” she sang. She even ate breakfast in a hurry. “Yum, yum, and zoom!”

Every morning, Sofia flew among the flowers. “Good morning, garden!” The bees buzzed back, “Bzzz, bzzz!” Sofia swooped up and down with her wings spread wide. “I’m a whirlwind with a beak!” She flew so fast that she almost said hello to the same flower twice.
